Echo of Light
Have you ever watched the sunlight shimmer across the water along the Sarasota coast and felt the room around you suddenly come alive with light?
That quiet, reflective moment is what inspired Echo of Light. Staged near a window overlooking the water, the painting begins to echo the feeling of fine coastal living — open spaces, soft light, and the calm rhythm of the Gulf just beyond the glass. The metallic silver across the canvas catches the sunlight and reflects it back into the room, creating a gentle shimmer that shifts throughout the day.
Living and painting in Sarasota, Florida, I’m constantly inspired by how light interacts with water, architecture, and color. Sometimes the most beautiful moments are simply reflections — small flashes of brightness that remind us to slow down and notice the world around us.
